The Radio-TV Gallery is staffed when the Senate is in session. In order to do our part to flatten the curve of the CoVID-19 virus, we ask that you do not visit the office unless absolutely necessary. We are updating this website daily with information regarding our remote credentialing process, news events and the Senate floor schedule. Please check back regularly.
*** THE 2019 CONGRESSIONAL PRESS CREDENTIAL IS NOW EXPIRED ***
The Capitol and surrounding office buildings remain closed to the public, so you will not be allowed entry after July 31 unless you have a Press 20 credential.
Please be advised that because of the pandemic we are unable to accept in-person/drop-off payments in our office. Payments using credit or debit card may be made over the phone. To schedule your credential payment, please email your phone number and the best time of day to contact you to Ellen_Eckert@saa.senate.gov.
WHAT TO DO AFTER JULY 31 IF YOU HAVE NOT PICKED UP YOUR PRESS 20 CREDENTIAL
- When you are able to do so, arrange for a colleague with a Press 20 credential to escort you to the ID Office.
- DO NOT DISPLAY YOUR EXPIRED PRESS 19 CREDENTIAL UNTIL WELL INSIDE THE ID OFFICE. USCP will confiscate expired credentials and that will delay your ability to get a current credential.
- The ID Office is located in Dirksen Room G-58; hours of operation are 8am-12pm, Monday-Friday.
